Founded in 2015, Sophinvest began as a private holding company focused on acquiring and repositioning distressed residential and commercial real estate. Our foundational strategy was to identify underperforming assets and unlock their embedded value through intensive, hands-on management. Building on a decade of success, Sophinvest has strategically evolved its focus. As the market for direct distressed real estate became increasingly competitive, making it difficult to find quality deals that fit into our adisciplined acquisition criteria and scale our initial strategy, we identified a more scalable way to do this: working with financial institutions to acquire non-performing loans secured by commercial real estate, allowing us to continue unlocking sufficient value in each. Our flagship fund, Commercial Opportunity Fund I, offers accredited investors a vehicle to participate in this highly specialized strategy. We leverage deep expertise in due diligence, deal structuring, and B2B relationship management to create value for our investor partners and provide liquidity and operational efficiency solutions for lenders.
